SUMMARY

Ktorrent hangs on huge torrents

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. download torrent from https://www.moddb.com/mods/unification-mod-dawn-of-war-soulstorm/downloads/unification-736-torrent-pack
2. download a prior version of them mod and unpack it into a directory
3. point the newly downloaded torrent to that directory

OBSERVED RESULT

4. ktorrent will hang a few minutes opening the torrent
5. ktorrent will hang a few hours while checking for existing files
