The crash that I'm experiencing could be a dup: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=505304 not sure Downloaded and installed latest installation RPM from Brother but problem persists. Even gScan2Pdf won't recognize the scanner. Scanner works fine connected to a Windows 11 laptop with Brother software installed. I also have a "segmentation fault (core dumped) skanpage" on startup. I am using a Samsung CLX-3305W, connected over the local network. Without the driver package samsung-unified-driver [1] 1.00.39-11, Skanpage cannot detect the scanner. If the package is installed, Skanpage crashes on startup. (Skanlite also crashes on startup: "segmentation fault (core dumped) skanlite".) As "simple-scan" works on my machine with that scanner, the bug seems not to be in the driver package. Skanpage: 25.08.1 Skanlite: 25.08.1 Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.6 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.18.0 Qt Version: 6.9.2 Kernel Version: 6.15.11-2-MANJARO (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 12 × AMD Ryzen 5 2600X Six-Core Processor Memory: 15.5 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 560 Series I hope these details about another case of this error helps to find a bug fix.
