This is intentional behavior. It's also functionally harmless, since when KRunner opens, all of its text is selected, so you can simply start typing to erase the text and search for something new. So sorry, My brain is slow today and I read "Klipper" as "KRunner". Re-opening and reading more closely. :) Can reproduce. At the minimum we should pre-select all the text like KRunner does, so you can type a new search term to immediately replace it. But in this case, I do think it would be better to clear the search when selecting an item, or even all the time when closing the popup. |
