Trying to move between previews using a touchpad

SUMMARY
Horizontally scrolling on a touchpad above the app previews in an app's page is cumbersome, because for the scroll to be successful (the view moves to the next picture) the user needs to scroll using the touchpad's entire surface.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to an app page that has some preview screenshots
2. Try scrolling with a touchpad over them

OBSERVED RESULT
Simple horinzontal scrolls don't work for moving between the pictures. It needs to be a swipe spanning across the entire touchpad.

EXPECTED RESULT
Normal horizontal scroll is enough to move between preview screenshots.

It seems that this isn't a problem on X11, only on Wayland.
