firefox fullscreen flickering
|
Created attachment 181338 [details] firefox fullscreen flickering When an application is running in fullscreen and cursor is moved to other monitor, the screen on which the application is opened flickers once when leaving the monitor area, and also when entering the same. If fullscreen applications are opened on both monitors, both monitors flicker. Interestingly, when "Show FPS" option is enabled from Desktop Effects, the issue no longer persists. Video attached with Firefox in fullscreen on one monitor. Issue is also noticeable in other apps. Running applications using e.g. gamescope also mitigates the flickering. Downgrading kwin to 6.3.4-4 fixes the issue. reproducible on versions: kwin 6.3.5-1 wayland 1.23.1-2 linux 6.14.6.arch1-1 mesa 1:25.0.5-1
