Description Cristiano Guadagnino 2025-05-13 07:30:54 UTC
SUMMARY

When I connect my laptop to an external monitor and configure the external monitor to replicate the built-in screen, if I activate the grid view I cannot see the windows present in each grid cell: they all show the desktop as if it was empty (i.e. with no windows).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. connect laptop to external monitor
2. choose to use the external monitor as replica of the built-in one
3. activate grid effect (I activate it though a screen edge configuration, but you can also activate it through the configured hotkey)

OBSERVED RESULT
All grid cells (both in the internal and the external monitor) represent an empty desktop. Windows that are present in the virtual desktops are not visible.

EXPECTED RESULT
Grid cells should show the windows actually present in the corresponding virtual desktop.
