INCIDENT

- I left the system overnight with the screen locked and monitors off, but NOT on standby.
- After that, I returned and unlocked the system with a password as normal.
- On the desktop widget on Notifications, there were multiple new notifications, so I scrolled down (using mouse scroll)
- Instead of scrolling down, the Notifications Desktop widget got stuck for a few seconds, then the plasmashell crashed

CONFIG

- Notifications Widget takes up ~90% of a FHD screen
- Total 2 monitors connected


OTHER

- There were multiple firefox windows minimised
- There was a running Virtual Machine with a SPICE GUI open, minimised (Virt Manager)
- Plasma System Monitor was running, minimised
- 2 instances of Qt Creator, minimised
  - KTimeTracker minimised, not active
  - KTorrent in tray
  - Konversation in tray
- NeoChat in tray
- Dolphin minimised

- journalctl: no useful-seeming journal entries seen just before the crash

The reporter is unsure if this crash is reproducible.

Also, after the plasmashell restart, all Notifications were cleared.
I hadn't clicked the "Clear" button

Thank you for the bug report! This issue is already being tracked; marking as a duplicate.

Seems to specifically happen with Konversation.
