I have dolphin set to a specific size using “Configure Special Application Settings” and when I open Place it opens into Dolphin keeping the size I set. When I explaces Dolphins size is left untouched by open Places. Information panel is a completely different story. When I click the information button on the toolbar Dolphin becomes about a 5th wider and stays that way upon closing the information pane. I? would expect the same behavior from it as I get from the Places panel, which is to expand into Dolphin an not change the open windows size.

Issue resolved from in thread on the forum. Just a matter of unlocking the panels.
