To add, Start training button greyed out i assume as no name entered, Can you determine which version you're using? Are you on X or Wayland? I ask because this sounds like a previously-fixed bug (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422088 ) but looking quickly it seems Ubuntu plucky should have the fixed version.
