This behaviour has been happening over the last few days with several reboots of the computer happening in between. Could you please give us a bit more details: - where do you adjust the gain ? In the audio mixer, in an effect placed on the track ? - Are you using multiple sequences (timeline tabs) in your project ? Created attachment 180880 [details] attachment-263869-0.html Hi Jean-Baptists, I have been adjusting the gain in the audio mixer. I also have the gain plugin running on one segment in a track which doesn't seem to be retaining the changes either. This has been happening with more than one project so it indicates that it is not just one corrupt project file. I have been using Kdenlive for several years on Kde Neon without this happening so I'm thinking it is a bug recently introduced or something related to my system which is malfunctioning. I can see that the audio levels in the mixer and the gain plugin revert to previous levels after a project is saved and then reopened. I am just using one timeline with 4 audio tracks and 3 video tracks. The rendering is only using 2 video tracks and 2 audio tracks. I'm going to re-test to be sure that that was not the problem. Could you share with me one of the project files (just the .kdenlive file) ? Created attachment 180908 [details] Amsiggel Darija chapter 01.kdenlive Attached is one of the project files. Could you share with me one of the project files (just the .kdenlive > file) ? > Ok, I think I found the problem. Adjusting the audio mixer volume with the slider works. However if adjusting through the numeric field below the slider, level is not correctly saved. Will work on a fix. Git commit 8b9d06ef254cf06514e56cfc7cc81cc65910ed7e by Jean-Baptiste Mardelle. Committed on 04/05/2025 at 05:08. Pushed by mardelle into branch 'release/25.04'. Fix audio mixer volume spinbox not really changing volume M +1 -14 src/audiomixer/mixerwidget.cpp https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kdenlive/-/commit/8b9d06ef254cf06514e56cfc7cc81cc65910ed7e Created attachment 180946 [details] attachment-1432390-0.html Thanks Jean-Baptiste. I had found that the slider worked, but it seemed not all the time. The last time I tried using the slider instead of typing the dB in it was not saved properly. Let me know if you want me to check that point again and confirm this. Glad you're looking into this. The bug disappeared. -- Andrew On 06/05/2025 08:36, Jean-Baptiste Mardelle wrote: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=503662 > > --- Comment #11 from Jean-Baptiste Mardelle<jb@kdenlive.org> --- > I am unable to reproduce, so if you find a reliable way to reproduce the bug, > that would help, thanks > |
