Ideally, all user-specified preference settings should be 'sticky' and remembered betweem invokations. You forget the "Settings/Save View Profile 'File Management'" step. Subject: RE: Does not keep "Multicolumn View" setting after app is closed Thanks, Stephan. I would consider making some of these view-related settings 'sticky' so that the dummies like me don't forget to do the save. It would be nice to see the app in the same way as you left it just before you last logged out, without having to remember to save. Please consider. -----Original Message----- From: owner@bugs.kde.org [mailto:owner@bugs.kde.org]On Behalf Of Stephan Binner Sent: Saturday, November 09, 2002 4:14 AM To: ajm16@columbia.edu Subject: [Bug 50355] Does not keep "Multicolumn View" setting after app is closed ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You reported the bug, or are watching the reporter. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50355 binner@kde.org changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution| |INVALID ------- Additional Comments From binner@kde.org 2002-11-09 10:13 ------- You forget the "Settings/Save View Profile 'File Management'" step. |
