SYSTEM
- zenned
- plasma 6.3.4
- frameworks 6.13.0
- qt 6.9.0

STEPS
1. Install colord-kde.
2. In system settings, enable night color.
3. Reboot and login again.

RESULT
- The night color is applied for a brief moment, then reverted to off.

Enabling night color, then restarting "colord.service", leads to the same result.

Hence this is likely a service ordering issue.

I'm can reproduce this on git-master X11 either via reboot or by restarting colord.service
This looks like a duplicate of bug 491467.  The insight about the colord-kde service is helpful, I'll add that to the other report.
