SUMMARY
Kmail is very slow to download new mail. I have pipelining turned on. Would that make a difference?

What happens, is that new messages show up on my ISP mail server immediately. They also are immediately downloaded to my phone. However, they do take a few minutes to show up in my Kmail inbox. Sometimes, it says I have new emails, but they haven't actually showed up. Clicking on "check mail" doesn't seem to make any difference

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. It seems to be random...:-(
