Hmm, if it doesn't appear in the widget settings window, then it would appear the System Tray doesn't know about it. The strange thing is that is was there in the system tray since forever, and it dissipated about two weeks ago. I'm not sure which update was released at that time, but it certainly affected it. I found an older report for this in bug 491854 where the issue was determined to be caused by an MR in Kirigami, and was fixed. This seems like a regression This was also reported in bug 507815 which was marked a duplicate of bug 499892, which does describe the same thing.
