Hi Carlos, no iam using the stable branch, i didnt compile anything, just doing updates Operating System: KDE neon User Edition KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.21.0 Qt Version: 6.10.1 Kernel Version: 6.14.0-37-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with Radeon Graphics Memory: 32 GiB of RAM (31.1 GiB usable) Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 7600 I also tried to reinstall packages: plasma-desktop kwin-wayland qt6-base qt6-wayland yesterday i removed my RX 7600 GPU and tried the intergrated one same result, then i tried, KDE Neon Userediton live system, that worked out of the box i think some update messed something up, with some libs, but i dont know what i should reinstall or test now |
Created attachment 180536 [details] dmesg SUMMARY Logging in to a Wayland session with KDE Plasma 6.3.4 fails and returns to the login screen. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Login to Wayland session on KDE Neon. OBSERVED RESULT KDE Plasma fails to start and returns to the login screen. EXPECTED RESULT KDE Plasma session starts. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon 6.3 KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.13.0 Qt Version: 6.8.3 Kernel Version: 6.11.0-24-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with Radeon Graphics Memory: 31.1 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 7600 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Today i upgraded to 6.3.4 and cannot longer login to wayland, X11 works fine, switching back to kernel 6.8 dosent help, so i think its a Bug in kwin_wayland or QT lib.
