SUMMARY
Hi guys, thanks for the hardwork.

After i updated my fedora to fedora 42, somehow the panel popup is way too long. Can you please consider laptop with mini screen too? I'm using 768p monitor and i have no plan to upgrade anytime soon because it's still usable

I tried to switch the application style to breeze and it's the same, so i think it's not my theme. How do i fix this? Can i revert it back?

Also, how do i remove the | between the date and time? Somebody said if i update my kde it would be gone, but apparently it's not (I encounter this issue with my last update)

I think as a user I don't have to touch anything technical like what file to edit, even I'm a developer myself. But I'm kinda upset with this particular update (and my last update). If you tell me what file should i update + which line of code to revert back the change, please let me know

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install the latest fedora 42
2. Open system tray or any widget that has popup panel
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
- Panel popup is way too long
- There is unnecessary `|` between date and time

EXPECTED RESULT
- Panel popup should has enough height 
- There should be no `|` between the date and time

Thank you for the bug report. You've reported two different issues:

- Panel popup is way too long
- There is unnecessary `|` between date and time

The date and time configuration is not something I see on a stock Fedora 42 install, that must be a setting. You may be able to get help formatting it the way you want if you post about it at https://discuss.kde.org This isn't a bug in KDE Plasma.

Let's address the panel popups in this report. 
I tested with a Fedora VM display set to different 768 resolutions, and don't see popups taking up as much space as in your screenshot
1024x768 @ 100% (4:3)
1366x768 @ 100% (16:9)

You can change the size of the notifications popup, or other popups, by dragging one of the borders.
