In a document where pages 2 and 3 have to be rotated, the right command line command would be: pdftk ~/tmp/0_XSane.pdf cat 1north 2-3east output ~/tmp/0_XSane_r.pdf west turns pages the other direction, south turns the page(s) named before by 180°.
