The checkmark in the screenshot is provided by the Nextcloud Dolphin integration plugin. They are present in all views, not just icons view It seems reasonable to consider allowing a way to change the size of the overlay icon . Created attachment 180553 [details]

I don't know exactly when and I certainly don't know how, but the overlay icons have a very acceptable size now. On my machine.
Still it would perhaps be a nice idea if people could change the size of these icons.

Thanks for the update. In the second screenshot, it looks like you changed the icon theme. That might have caused the change you see. I'll keep this open for now to let the Dolphin developers add their opinion. Created attachment 180579 [details]
