Hi - I don't have a device I can try to reproduce this with, but just to check as hopefully helpful information for others: * Does System Monitor ever show all 20 cores on your device? * If so, then as-is, does it require a device restart while in the tethered profile to do so? * Does removing the widget change anything? Thanks! 🐛🧹 ⚠️ This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Please provide the requested information, then set the bug status to REPORTED. Created attachment 180291 [details] Screenshot of a side by side comparision between htop showing 20 cores and the system monitor showing 4 SUMMARY On my Tuxedo laptop I have two profiles, one for battery use that enables 4 cores and one for tethered use that enables all 20 cores, during Startup my laptop was in battery mode so it was 4 cores when I started the plasma session, a few hours later I noticed that thunderbolt did not charge my laptop so I unplugged and plugged back in, that switched thunderbolt mode to enable charging and thus the Laptop switched to the tethered profile enabling all 20 cores STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. start pc with some cores disabled 2. enable some additional cores while plasma is running 3. open system monitor to look at cpu graphs OBSERVED RESULT it shows 4 cores in the history view EXPECTED RESULT it should show 20 cores like htop does SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.12.19-1 KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.3-1 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.3.3-1 I believe Qt Version: 6.8.2-3 I believe ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I'm using the tuxedo control center to edit my profiles but I'm sure this can be achieved through more universal means Also I have a system monitor sensor widget in my task bar, maybe that is keeping something alive
