SUMMARY
  Okular closes when pressing Open Document button or selecting File/Open through the menu.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start program 
2. click on "Open Document..." button
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
Okular closes immediately.

EXPECTED RESULT
   I expect to see a file/directory widget and to be able to navigate to the pdf file I want to open.

Windows:

You are using Okular from snap and the snap packaging seems broken. Nothing the okular developers can really do here.

Adding some people that care about snaps in case they have time to fix it.
