The name doesn't come from us; I'm afraid you'll need to report this to the PipeWire folks. It's quite odd that your card is mis-labeled as being in the wrong generation! |
Created attachment 180005 [details] screenshot of failure SUMMARY In KDE Plasma "Sound - System Settings" there is a card listed as "Rembrandt Radeon High Definition Audio controller". This isn't a Rembrandt laptop though; it's a Strix laptop. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open settings OBSERVED RESULT Rembrandt Radeon High Definition Audio controller EXPECTED RESULT I think it's better not to distinguish the specific model of the APU unless it's guaranteed accurate. Perhaps instead: "AMD Ryzen High Definition Audio controller" SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: CachyOS KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.12.0 Qt Version: 6.8.3
