How odd. I'm not able to reproduce this on Plasma 6.3.3 or on git-master. I'll leave it open in case someone else can. Both systems are laptops. One has an AMD GPU, the other nvidia Does that second cursor go away if you trigger a repaint in that area? Just moving a window there should be enough (In reply to Zamundaaa from comment #2) > Does that second cursor go away if you trigger a repaint in that area? Just > moving a window there should be enough When it happened, no. The mouse cursor would stay on top of any window. However, it hasn't happened to me in a long time, so you can close this issue if you want to. Thanks for letting us know. I'll close this out for now. If it happens again, feel free to set the report to REOPENED. |
Created attachment 179812 [details] Second cursor on lock screen SUMMARY Hi there, after connecting and disconnecting a second screen rather quickly (less than a 30 seconds between connect and disconnect), a second mouse cursor appeared on my internal screen that doesn't moe and doesn't go away. It's visible everywhere, so above regular windows, on the lock screen etc. Curiously, screenshots don't include the cursor, so I took a picture with my phone. It happened for the first time now, I have never seen this before, even after disconnecting this very screen. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. connect screen 2. disconnect screen 3. observe OBSERVED RESULT second cursor on screen EXPECTED RESULT only one cursor on screen SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Yuga Linux 20250326 KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.12.0 Qt Version: 6.8.2 Kernel Version: 6.13.7-1-yuga (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 7840U w/ Radeon 780M Graphics Memory: 30.7 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon 780M Manufacturer: Framework Product Name: Laptop 13 (AMD Ryzen 7040Series) System Version: A7 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION While this is Yuga Linux, it uses openSUSE Tumbleweed packages and repos.
