SUMMARY
When filtering Compositions to only show Transitions, only a few of them are actually shown.

Also, the order in which they are shown (when all compositions are shown) is not strictly an alphabetical one, nor are they sorted by "type" either because the order includes first a transfer mode (Addition), then the audio transition (Audio Mix), three video transitions (Dissolve, Slide and Wipe), then all of the other ones, being them transitions or transfer modes.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Kdenlive. 
2. Open/bring to front the Compositions panel.
3. Click on the "Show transitions only" button in the panel header.

OBSERVED RESULT
only these transitions are shown:
- Audio Mix
- Dissolve
- Slide
- Wipe


EXPECTED RESULT
all of the transitions to be shown:
- Audio Mix
- Dissolve
- Horizontal Barn Door Wipe
- Luma
- Push Down
- Push Left
- Push Right
- Push Up
- Slide
- Slide Down
- Slide  Left
- Slide Right
- Slide Up
- Vertical Barn Door Wipe
- Wipe
- Wipe Down
- Wipe Left
- Wipe Right
- Wipe Up

Worth noting is that the strange ordering of compositions in the panel happens when the UI is in English, but not when the UI is being shown in Spanish (for example).  When using the translated UI, compositions/transitions are correctly (alphabetically) ordered.

I forgot about "Composite", which is also a transition, despite its name :)
