Description David F. Newman 2002-11-04 17:13:24 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc 2.95.3
OS: Solaris

I have three screens, :0.0, :0.1 and :0.2. kwin seems to only be managing screen :0.1. Windows that appear on :0.0 and :0.2 have no window decorations. What is also weird is that the kicker has only 1 virtual desktop on the unmanaged screens. The managed screen has the usual 4.

I can confirm this bug, using KDE 3.1rc2 (Mandrake Cooker rpms). I have a dual
screen setup, and kwin only starts on display :0.0. I can start kwin manually on
display :0.1 by running "DISPLAY=:0.1 kwin &" in a shell, and after that it
starts OK (and also kicker shows all virtual desktops after that).
