SUMMARY
Dolphin cannot read/write it's own preferences when home directory is encrypted and/or mounted with fuse, not sure which combination is required. Encountered this bug when using gocryptfs.
None of the other 100 programs installed have this problem.
Other common Qt6 file managers also do not have this problem.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Setup gocryptfs encrypted user home directory
50. Try to use dolphin

OBSERVED RESULT
When you select any settings, and then open a directory, the settings are lost.
Close the program and reopen, settings are lost. Back to defaults.
Default applications seem to work, but that's not part of dolphin preferences anyway.
When opening with terminal, you are greeted with:
```
org.kde.dolphin: Could not load default global viewproperties
org.kde.dolphin: Could not load default global viewproperties
qt.core.qobject.connect: QObject::connect: No such signal Solid::Backends::Fstab::FstabStorageAccess::checkRequested(QString)
```
