Freeze and crash of inkscape mentioned here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Inkscape/comments/1jbctl9/inkscape_crashes_without_any_log_on_copying and here: https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inbox/-/issues/11859. I see the freeze (no crash) also on thunderbird 136. Confirmed, and fixed by https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-workspace/-/commit/bbecc43cef4e7c615fe8b1691c2eb1e1f916edf3 in Plasma 6.3.4 Best possible news: just a matter of waiting for the update to reach me! Thanks! My system, too, has been very unstable in the past couple of days. Applications vanish when I copy & paste something, but also when attempting to attach a file to a message in KMail, for example. Not really sure if this is all due to the same root cause, but what used to be a very stable and reliable work environment is suddenly causing me lots of headaches... Good to see that a fix has been committed so quickly, but seeing that the Plasma 6.3.4 release date is ~ 2 weeks from now -- may I humbly ask if there is any chance to get this update any sooner...? Thanks for all your hard work! |
