Description postix 2025-03-16 14:42:23 UTC
SUMMARY

Impossible to edit the address bar in a useful way when the window is very small.
The address bar should use the full potential space while in edit mode.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Make the window very narrow
2. Right click into the address bar and click on edit

OBSERVED RESULT
"Folder icon" "blinking cursor" "clear icon" "chevron down" "checkmark icon"

There's absolutely no way to edit something in any meaningful way.

EXPECTED RESULT
When in edit mode, the addressbar becomes wider and pushes the elements away or is displayed over of them
to use the full available width

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Fedora Linux 41
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.12.0
Qt Version: 6.8.2
Dolphin 24.12.3

This would have to be done in Dolphin; moving there.

In general, making this case work will be very difficult.
