When opening kdenlive the app crashes after showing the splash screen.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the app from either the app tray or from the terminal.
2. See splash screen
3. see splash screen disappear. Then nothing.

OBSERVED RESULT
A crash

EXPECTED RESULT
The app runs.
