SUMMARY
Adding devices manually via their IPv6 address is not possible whereas via IPv4 address, it is possible.
Neither the bare IPv6 address, not the address surrounded by square brackets work. 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Tap hamburger menu
2. Tap "Pair new device"
3. Tap 3 dots button
4. Tap "Add devices by IP"
5. Tap plus button
6. enter an IPv6 address
7. press "OK"

OBSERVED RESULT
Application reports "Host is invalid. Use a valid Hostname, IPv4 or IPv6" via toast message.

EXPECTED RESULT
A device is added with the given IPv6 address.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Android App version is actually 1.33.1

This makes me unable to use KDE Connect because my home network does not allow my devices to connect to each other. Therefore i am using a Wireguard network. The wiki says if you are using a tunnel, you have to enter the IP manually, but that doesn't work because i can't enter an IPv6 and on my other device, kde connect is only listening on IPv6, not IPv4.

I can reproduce this in Version 1.33.4

It seems that it is able to add ipv6 address in the latest release 1.33.5.

Should be fixed indeed in 1.33.5
