Hi - this appears to be related to trying to use a proportional, rather than monospaced, font in Konsole, so I'm merging this in with the related issue that's been filed previously. Thanks! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 459398 *** |
Created attachment 179004 [details] a screenshot of the problem happening SUMMARY the 'caret' (typing cursor) gets offset a bit more every time a character is typed when in konsole. The offset seems to apply to the space character as well when space bar is pressed. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. open konsole or yakuake 2. type anything 3. done OBSERVED RESULT the 'caret' or the typing cursor gets offset from each typed character as well as the space character EXPECTED RESULT the 'caret' should be at the end of the last typed character and space should not have an offset like that SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS nobara linux 41 Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11.0 Qt Version: 6.8.2 Other notes in the picture the large spaces are from one space character This did happen once in browser search bar, but I couldn't reproduce after a restart
