STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Desktop Effects KCM and scroll down until you get to Squash effect

OBSERVED RESULT
There are 2 Squash effects in Desktop Effects list

EXPECTED RESULT
Only 1 Squash effect

Do you have Plasma or KWin built from source? If so, this is currently expected. Not ideal, and should be fixed, but expected.

Yes. it's built from source
