Description Ed Kopta 2025-02-25 17:05:13 UTC
SUMMARY

Since Plasma 6.3 came out, pressing an alt+ keycombo to open a menu in an application opens the File menu instead. For instance, alt+p acts as alt+f would. This happens in Inkscape and Sublime Text under Wayland, but X11 works as normal.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Log into a Wayland session.
2. Open a new document in Inkscape or Sublime Text. Those are the apps I've tried.
3. Press alt+p

OBSERVED RESULT

The File menu opens.

EXPECTED RESULT

The Path menu should open.

Might be an issue in GTK 3 -- this also happens with clicks, and with other gtk 3 apps in native wayland mode (e.g., emacs). Also happens in sway.
