Created attachment 178818 [details] An example of how much plasmashell eats at my place in 15 seconds with gif. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Put a gif on your desktop wallpaper 2. Wait for a while, after which plasmashell starts eating more and more RAM. OBSERVED RESULT The system dies completely after a few minutes. EXPECTED RESULT There should be no difference between a normal photo and a gif. Linux/KDE Plasma: CachyOS KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11 Qt Version: 6.8.2
