An example of how much plasmashell eats at my place in 15 seconds with gif.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Put a gif on your desktop wallpaper
2. Wait for a while, after which plasmashell starts eating more and more RAM.

OBSERVED RESULT

The system dies completely after a few minutes.

EXPECTED RESULT

There should be no difference between a normal photo and a gif.

Linux/KDE Plasma: CachyOS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.11
Qt Version: 6.8.2

Reported previously as Bug 492097; will re-open it. Can you attach a gif that makes this happen to Bug 492097? Thanks!
