FWIW, I had a random crash whilst using Kontact and a good full back trace was sent to sentry via Drkonqi. Related or not I have no idea, sorry. Created attachment 178851 [details]
New BT when closing Kontact
I am closing this now, I think the issue was that I was testing with QT-6.9, since downgrading to QT-6.8.2 all works OK, no coredumps when closing kontact for two days. I have reopened this as QT6.9 is default now in Fedora42. I still use git master for apps, plasma, frameworks provided by a COPR. The crashes when I close kontact have resumed, every time and DrKonqi does not start. A new crash has been uploaded to sentry this evening, this occurred when browsing posts in Akregator, which froze and crashed kontact. qt6-qtwebengine seems to be the common denominator here? crash with coredump of kontact also in openSUSE Tumbleweed 20250912 KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.17.0 Qt Version: 6.9.2 Kernel Version: 6.16.6-1-default (64-bit) Created attachment 184963 [details]

Use kontact 2. Exit Kontact 3. Crash/coredump OBSERVED RESULT When closing Kontact it will crash (coredump) It happens every time once it has been running for a few hours.
