on the topic of icons to use on plasma kde i basically have my own theme. i started years ago by merging a theme, i deleted the ones i didn't like, and gradually i added the ones i liked. a couple of years ago, starting from a specific kde update, a whole series of icons broke (a few hundred). in all of them a gray border appeared in the lower left. for years i've been waiting for some update to randomly fix the bug. these files are displayed correctly by some graphic applications and incorrectly by others, i think it depends on which graphic library they use to open the svg files. i'm attaching an example of 3 icons as they appear faulty to me.

Indeed, it's unfortunately the fault of the Qt SVG renderer.
