Can you try with only the rpmostree backend, and also without. And check if the ghost entries also appear with just the flatpak backend. Our theory is that this is actually a bug in the rpm ostree backend. plasma-discover --backends rpm-ostree plasma-discover --backends flatpak I have tried with both back ends, but was not able to reproduce it just yet. When doing the system update with the rpm back end, it just displays two unique entries I presume, just the installing and the system update one. While doing flatpack back end, then the rows that are displayed were in the ghost entry style, but this time there were no ghost entries. I’ll keep trying in this fashion, and update if necessary. 🐛🧹 ⚠️ This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! 🐛🧹 This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 30 days. Closing as RESOLVED WORKSFORME. Definitely rpm-ostree backend. (In reply to Emir SARI from comment #5) > Definitely rpm-ostree backend. Sorry, brain error. I meant Flatpak! > Sorry, brain error. I meant Flatpak!
Hi Emir,
The next time this happens can you please quickly make note of how many rows there are in total, how many are empty and how many are populated? I then want you to cancel all updates in Discover and run the command 'flatpak update' in Konsole.
For example. If you see 6 rows in discover, 2 are empty but 4 show the progress of apps updating, I am curious if flatpak will show pending updates for 6 apps. Screenshots of this would be very helpful if you could provide them.
Also, could you please copy & paste your system specs here?
Thanks!

Created attachment 178701 [details] screenshot Latest Kinoite, tr_TR locale. I am not sure how to reproduce this. When I was performing updates, the system one to be exact, the Tasks modal dialogue suddenly started displaying these empty rows. Maybe something can be done to ensure it doesn’t go awry. See screenshot.
