SUMMARY
KRunner fails to open via shortcut.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Boot up computer/Restart plasma-krunner.service
2. Activate KRunner via shortcut (for me it's alt+tab & alt+f2; I've tried both); this may work the first time, or even for the first minute
=> Eventually KRunner stops activating, permanently


OBSERVED RESULT
KRunner stops appearing after the first time/first minute with keyboard shortcuts.


EXPECTED RESULT
KRunner appears consistently with keyboard shortcuts.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This bug is similar, but different, to [489808](https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=489808), which also indicates KRunner failing to open. However, the behavior in that post indicates that KRunner will open again after spamming the shorcut enough times, whereas no such behavior was observed here (as indicated in the journal below by the spam, starting '13:58:31', ending '13:58:40').

Interestingly, this bug does not seem to affect the search widget. For testing purposes, I placed a search widget in my system tray, and that was able to activate via click just fine, and do so multiple times. I was able to open up firefox. Granted, the search bar is by the system tray rather than the center of my screen, so I'm not sure if it uses an entirely different process. But for whatever reason, KRunner's keyboard shortcuts are resulting in a failed system.
