popup for "alternative widgets" blocking use of color picker gadgets

***
is a bug for me as i do not know how to disable the on-hover effect.
***

Hovering mouse near taskbar items causes an always on top accidental modal popup to visually block my use of focussed foreground application - see screenshot.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. I was running "paru" by itself a bit recently i don't remember changing or asking for this popup to appear I usually disable the "show app thumbnail on hover" etc.

OBSERVED RESULT
Normally closing the popup is only possible by clicking [x] at top right but this is undesirtable as I wish to keep the window open. :)

EXPECTED RESULT
I have all on mouise hover popups (except tooltips) disabled for the taskbar.

I'm afraid this was an intentional change for the Task Manager.

If you want to go back to the way things were before, you can disable *all* panel widget tooltips in System Settings > General Behavior > uncheck "Show informational tooltips on hover".
