I am trying to use a sub account as a way of projecting balance of pending transactions. On Google search I get the following results: To generate a KMyMoney report that includes data from sub-accounts, simply select the parent account you want to view in the report generation settings, as KMyMoney automatically aggregates data from all its sub-accounts within the report, providing a consolidated view of the entire account hierarchy In the report settings, select the desired parent account from the "Account" dropdown list. Generate the report to view the combined data from the parent account and its sub-accounts. If I select parent account, i only get parent account transactions. If I select subaccount also I get transactions subtotaled by account. I want to be able to get a running balance as if it were one account It is my understanding it will generate report from parent account and its sub accounts. It does not. Anyway of doing this?
