"Signal" messenger does take a second to reappear from tray after Plasma 6.3 upgrade

Before the Plasma 6.3 upgrade, the desktop client of the Signal messenger immediately appeared when I clicked the tray icon. Now, it does take a second until I get a window.
Seems to be a Kwin issue: If I disable compositing with Alt + Shift + F12, the Signal window is coming up just as fast as with Plasma 6.2.
I don’t experience this with other tray software like KeePassXC or Amarok.

Does it happen on Wayland too? Or only X11?
