SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Find Windows 11 Settings, Apps, Default Apps, Search for txt.
2. Click on ".txt" and select Kate. At this time, Kate is not available by default. You must click to select other applications on the computer.
3. Whether you choose the shortcut to Kate that you created on the desktop yourself or the Kate.exe found in the file directory, the icon for Kate in the.txt file opening method is white. The next time you double-click to open a.txt file, Windows 11 still pops up the interface for choosing the opening method.
