SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have windows open on secondary screen (optionally attached via custom tiling)
2. Let KDE go into idle and shut the screens off due to idle
3. Awaken the desktop (I have the desktop locked and need to unlock it)

OBSERVED RESULT
Find your secondary windows out of place, often half way into the primary screen space.

EXPECTED RESULT
Windows to be in the same positions as when the screen was locked or idled out. (Behaviour was correct in 6.2.X)

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

macOS:
(available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window)
Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.3.0

Qt Version: 6.8.2

Is this on Wayland, or X11, or both?

Hi, I only know of this on Wayland. Running Nobara 41 which only supports Wayland as of recent.

Do you still see this issue in Plasma 6.4?
If yes, were the misplaced windows in some special state, specifically were they tiled?

Yes, I still see this issue in 6.4.5.
Yes they are tiled using the built in KDE tool for it.
It is only on the secondary monitor that it occurs (it is only on that monitor I make use of the tiling zones).
The amount of movement has changed with different KDE patches but never totally fixed.
