Muting audio worked but any video effect KI try doesnt? Tried edge crop on the main vid time line and it works but not on the one frame I added above to edge crop or crop tilt? Created attachment 178485 [details]
Edit Mode icon enabled
Make sure Edit Mode is enabled. In your screenshot it seems to be off. It is the icon to the immediate right to the fast forward button in the project monitor toolbar. See my attachment. Help, I have an eye disease so sifting through kdenlive's site to find how to contactt is hard for me. I had this past email issue in the past so will use it for my question. Because of my eyes I accidentally deleted my preset profile which allowed me to change the video bitrate and audio bitrate and still have the encoder slider visible. Now that am trying to create a new one, I can no longer do this. What am I doing wrong? AI tried helping me create but nothing works and it just keeps repeating same thing.

Created attachment 178447 [details] Screenshot of editor Had been using version 24.12.1 but updated to the new version to see if would fix issue but it didnt. Never had this issue before. Whenever I add an effect it shows up in the pane but doesnt actualize in the preview box window. For example crop by padding doesnt show the red square box to use. Did make sure it wasnt unchecked in the timeline. Then tried rotoscoping, the effect again appeared in the pane but nothing showed in the preview vid window to indicate it? Not sure if was me that could have changed a setting somehow. I have an eye disease so is hard for me to see to sift through it all? Usually restarting my pc fixes any issues?
