Description Martin Zbořil 2025-02-16 11:03:35 UTC
Kdenlive is great, but i only have 1TB disk and cannot afford waste so much space on 120fps mov files when the project is only 30fps anyway, some control over conversion settings would be nice to have.

SUMMARY
Kdenlive offers to convert some videos but only does it in 120fps for a video project in 30fps, that wastes a lot of disk space.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. insert bunch of videos clips into your project
2. wait for conversion to finish
3. find it stucked with disk full.

You can create your own transcode profile in Kdenlive > Settings > Configure Kdenlive > Transcode. Add the ffmpeg parameter fps=30 to a profile you want to use.

If that works please close the bug report. Thanks.
