SUMMARY
The "Image Quality Sort" options window is not shown anymore when selecting the sort from the items context menu. Restarting or reinstalling digikam does not fix the issue. In v5.0, the options window pops-up when you select "Image Quality Sort" in the context menu before the sort is executed.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select item(s) from album
2. Right-click mouse to see context menu
3. Select "Image Quality Sort"
4. The sort is executed w/o the options window being shown

This point is normal. The IQS settings is moved in the left labels sidebar tab.

You are using a pre-release version for which there is no announcement about the changes yet.
You can now find the settings in the Label tab. The whole thing is still in flux.

The settings for auto-tags in the Tag tab and the face engine in the People tab.
To anticipate the next question, the settings can be collapsed.
