SUMMARY
After screen off (power management: screen off after 60 minutes), at screen on, most windows have migrated to left most of three displays. This results in wasted time getting all my windows back to their desired locations; this is aggravating with 3 displays and 10 virtual desktops.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Walk away from system (sleep, other reasons) for longer than "Turn off screen" time
2. Return; move mouse to restore screens
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
Most windows have migrated to left most screen. Some windows are partially off the left edge; some extend onto the middle screen. Essentially, the middle of each window is on left screen.

EXPECTED RESULT
Leave windows in their original locations.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Comment 1 pf 2025-02-14 13:45:07 UTC
This issue wastes much time each morning re-arranging almost all the windows on each virtual desktop. Then, moving windows makes it very likely to trigger bug 499405.

Please attach the output of kscreen-doctor -o. The geometry of at least one window before it got shuffled around wrongly would also be useful to replicate the issue in a test.
