Obstructive Wayland Window

SUMMARY
This bug is very hard to catch, I've been trying to use Spectacle to get an image of it, but it disappears before I'm able to catch it. Hovering over an item in dolphin with the cursor spontaneously will generate a separate wayland window, with no titlebar, that shows the preview image of the element itself. It disappears in about two seconds, but this can repeatedly happen over again depending on how many items were hovered, and can disrupt the focusing of windows and can prevent me from typing in a text field on another application

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open dolphin (on wayland)
2. Hover over a a few items in a cursory way, do not click on them.
3. An obstructive Wayland window will appears briefly for 1 second that shows the image preview

3.

I do not get such an image tooltip. Can you please share more information of your system? Also, do you have some third party plugin that does this for you?

In Configure -> View -> General -tab -> Miscellaneous section, do you have "Show item information on hover" enabled?

I have both a steamdeck (running linux-neptune kernel) and a dell laptop (running a conventional archlinux setup) and I have issues with both when using wayland. I added an attachement that shoes that I do in fact have "show item on hover". Although disabling that doesn't do anything. I don't believe I have any third party plugins, at least for dolphin (I have downloaded a one or two widgets for making my panels transparent, not sure if that has any interactions with dolphin...)
