On Windows, multiple monitors share the same panel by default. This functionality is very convenient so you don't have to move your cursor farther to click a program in the panel, turn your head to see the current time, etc. Plasma does not do this by default. Not that it should, but it doesn't offer ever the option.

Currently, the only built-in way to recreate this behavior is to add a new panel to each monitor, manually recreating each of the widgets and setting all of their individual configuration options identically to how they're set on the previous monitor. This is incredibly tedious. Furthermore, if you ever change a configuration option, pin a new application to the task manager widget, or do anything else with the panel's widgets, then you have to manually replicate it on every monitor. I have 3 monitors, so this gets old fast. The point of having identical panels on each monitor--convenience--is defeated by how difficult, time-consuming, and easy to mess up this is.

It would be great to make it easy to duplicate a panel to other monitors and keep them synced. Its configuration (except for its position, obviously), all of its widgets, and all of its widgets' configurations would always be kept the same between synced panels. I was very surprised to find this isn't even an option, considering it's the default on Windows (for good reason, I'd argue).
