Hey, I'm not sure if this is the correct component, but I believe it is.

Basically, whenever I get a notification, it seems that it grabs all atention from my mouse cursor (as if the notification ocuppied the entire screen, but invisible/transparent).

I've mostly noticed this on Electron apps (specifically https://github.com/Vencord/Vesktop), but I believe this also applies to other apps.

When this happens, I have to double-click to re-focus the currently visible window.

This is definitely not intentional! Can you attach a screen recording that shows it happening?

Hello. I could attach one; however, I don't know how to reproduce the bug. It's random, even though it happens frequently; but it doesn't happen always.

Aside from that, everytime it has happened to me was mainly via Discord (Vesktop app) notifications, so if I recorded it, it would expose my personal information.

However, I can say what normally seems to cause it: notifications when using XWayland apps and from them.

- Electron uses X11 by default due to some problems with Wayland, so it goes through XWayland (Discord notifications).
- When I'm playing a game via Proton, which uses Wine via XWayland, and I hear a notification then press alt-tab to see it the same issue happens and I also see a X cursor from my Papirus icon theme. (I believe the XWayland window of the game causes issues with the native Wayland notifications as well.)

So far I've not noticed it happening within KDE natively (when everything is Wayland), and I've always noticed the X cursor image whenever it happens (I don't know if it's to indicate a X11 window, but that's what happens).

I have not had this behavior in the past, so I believe it's a regression.

Thanks.

Are the affected notifications standard Plasma notifications? Or are they noticeably different in appearance?

They are standard Plasma notifications.

I'm out of ideas, then. :/

Can you see if the issue still happens in Plasma 6.3.5 or later? Thanks a lot!

Hi. This has not happened for a while now, so I'll consider this magically fixed. If it happens again, I'll let you know. Thanks!
