Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.0.4)
Installed from:    Mandrake RPMs
OS:          Linux

When I start kde and ppp is on, ppp0 appears in ksysguard interface list.

But if I disconnect and then reconnect, ppp0 is not shown anymore in ksysguard, though ifconfig report that the interface is on and I can browse the internet.

This is the same as Bug 57265 but that has more info (although it is newer) so I
think this should be marked as a duplicate of that.
